This means we are backed by the best! We are also proud to provide policies through Alliant National Title Insurance Company, providing a wide range of services and options for our clients.

Durand D. Peterson

Abstracter, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
Durand is an owner and operator of Minnewaska Abstract & Title, LLC since January of 2008 but wasn't full time until December of 2010. He is from the Alexandria area and graduated from Jefferson High School with further education at Alexandria Technical and Community College. Durand currently lives in Pope County with his wife Tina. Durand enjoys racing, fishing, pickleball and traveling with his family.

Tina M. Peterson

Settlement Agent, Title Examiner
Tina is an owner and operator of Minnewaska Abstract & Title, LLC since January of 2008 when the business was first established. She is originally from Colorado, but has lived in Minnesota since 1993. Tina graduated from Alexandria Technical and Community College and has worked in real estate and the title industry since graduating. She currently lives in Pope County with her husband Durand. Tina enjoys flower gardening, reading and traveling.

Abbie Schmitt

Closer
Abbie is a Licensed Closing Agent for Minnewaska Abstract & Title, LLC. She is originally from St. Cloud Minnesota but later moved to Utah where she fell in love with the outdoors and found a passion for small animal medicine. After some time out West, she and her fiancé decided it was time to move home to be closer to family and find a new passion in life. This led them to Glenwood where they live now with their 4 fur babies. Abbie enjoys spending time outside on a nice day, gardening, playing with her dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
